Due to the coronavirus pandemic and state executive orders, business is closed for now. Starting Thursday March 19th and lasting until at least May 4th, though the date may vary.


In the chiropractic clinic I can accept direct prescriptions from the chiropractor and legally work on clients with acute illness. For this, I will be able to take clients on Monday at the office. I will have Kayla sign the prescription paperwork before I can work on the client. Clients with a doctor's prescription from any other source can not yet be accepted legally.

Magic Hands Professional and Therapeutic Massage is based out of Carlton, MN, with a location also in Cloquet, MN (Ellison Family Chiropractic).


This is a professional and therapeutic home and public practice by me (Amarah Parks, CMT).


MY HOME LOCATION:

Being based out of a shared home, there can be some noises such as faint dog barking, stair descent, or stomping from upstairs. As long as you are aware of and okay with this possibility (though I do everything I can to minimize it), then you will be delighted to experience the holistic and empathetic approach I offer. 


There are cats, dogs, and chickens in or around my home location, so if allergies are a concern, ask me about your options. All animals are kept out of the massage room and those with mild to moderate animal allergies have been fine receiving massage here.


I use a base plain oil with many nut oils in it, but I also carry fractionated coconut oil and a few other mixes. If you have any allergies to nut oils or other potential oils, please let me know. You may bring your own oil as well.


MY PUBLIC LOCATION:

Located in Ellison Family Chiropractic, the setting is professional and medical focused, but also aesthetically pleasing and calm for those who like relaxation. I specialize in deep tissue there, but am not limited to it. NOTE: Deep tissue does NOT mean heavy pressure (though it can); it means FOCUSED WORK. Some bodies need or want more pressure to achieve the same results, while other bodies don't need near as much. The goal for Deep Tissue is to address problem areas and produce lasting results in the areas of pain reduction, mobility, awareness, and functionality.

Fridays-ALL DAY, when not at Ellison

8:30am-8:30pm (Sessions: 9am, 11am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm, and 7pm) 


Tuesdays-PM

5pm-8:30pm (Sessions: 5pm, 7pm)

RATES

General Rates - Relaxation, Deep Tissue, ETC.

$37 for 30 minutes

$64 for 60 minutes

$96 for 90 minutes 

(Any price changes will be made known to clients weeks in advance.)


(NEW)ADD ONS:

Hot towels:$3 (applied to a problem area at beginning of session and feet at end of session)

Raindrop Therapy:$10 (3-5 drops of four different essential oils applied to the spine, very invigorating)

A Few Hot Stones:$3 (used during massage of problem areas as heat therapy to soften tissues)

NOTE-ALL ADD ONS MUST BE COMMUNICATED TO ME IN ADVANCE FOR PREPARATION.


Hot Stone Rates (Typically Only Offered at Home Office)

$90 for 75 minutes (Relaxation Only)


Chair Massage Rates

$15 for 10 minutes

$20 for 15 minutes

$35 for 30 minutes 

(I can accommodate for pregnant women on the table, but not the chair.)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation Policies are outlined on the "About/Policies" tab of this website. You will be made aware with these policies and asked to agree to them before booking. These policies will be implemented strictly with rare exceptions. 


Magic Hands Professional and Therapeutic Massage is 100% professional. Any inappropriate, suggestive, or sexual inquiries will be ignored or reported. That is simply not tolerable in my practice, or any other professional massage practice.


I have a right to refuse any client at any time if I feel uncomfortable. In the same way, any client of mine can stop the session at any time if they feel uncomfortable. I will take the steps necessary to educate every client so that there is no unanswered questions regarding the therapy, draping, techniques, etc. I value taking time for client intake forms to avoid confusion or reservation.


I do not file forms for you or process insurance claims for you. Upon request, however, I can provide you with the paperwork needed for you to personally file claims (my professional intake form for your session).

Prices are the usual. A popular idea is to buy a 30 min, which they can choose to add on to if they like. A 30 min Gift Card is just $37.
