I take my work seriously, and will not book clients for a day or time that does not work for me. There are very few reasons I would have to cancel your session. Your session is a priority. Likewise, I have policies to ensure the same dedication in my clients.

LATE CLIENT: Most often I will still be able to offer the full session time. However, in the case of closely booked clients or my break, the client will lose time for their session. They will be charged for the full session, and given as much time as I am able to give without affecting other clients.

LATE THERAPIST: If I am late for any reason, I will give the massage for free. If they are unable to fulfill the session that day because of my tardiness, I will offer them a free session at the soonest available time. (I have never been late for a client, so this will not happen unless there are emergencies.) 

CLIENT CANCELING: Clients must cancel their session at least 24 hours before their booked time. In this case, cancellation will not be penalized. If a client cancels 24 hours or less in advance, they will be charged for half of the session cost. This charge will be prompted through PayPal, Facebook Messenger, or in person during their next session.

REPETITIVE CLIENT CANCELING: If a client cancels their booking twice in a row, whether 24 hours before or not, I will not book them again without a 50% non-refundable deposit for the session. If they are to cancel again afterward, they will not be refunded the deposit, and may not be able to book again.

FIRST TIME CLIENT BOOKING: First time clients will be asked to pay in advance 50% of the session fee. If they cancel 24 hours or less in advance, this will be non-refundable. If they cancel reasonably ahead of time, they will be refunded this fee entirely until/unless they become a repetitively canceling client as outlined above.

NO CALL/NO SHOW: Clients who do not show up and do not contact me concerning their session will be expected to pay for half of the session fee. If they paid half in advance, it will be held and non-refundable. If they book again and do the same, they will not be able to book again.

THERAPIST CANCELING: If I have to cancel for reason of sickness, tragedy, or other extreme situation, I will compensate the client. If I am able to cancel more than 24 hours in advance, I will reschedule the clients to the next available time. If I have to cancel in a last-minute emergency, I will discount the session for their next booking.

CLIENT HAS NO PAYMENT: If a client cannot pay me for their session but are a regular and trustworthy client, I will allow them to pay later, but before they have another session. If the client is new and unable to pay right away, I will not give them the massage that day and will attempt to re-book with them. The 50% deposit they made for their session that day will not be reused for the following session, but it will be used to cover the inconvenience of the inability to pay. Clients are expected to have the session payment when they come for their session. New clients will be asked to pay before they begin their session.

Magic Hands values personal connection and acknowledgment of the client. Clients often know more about their own pain than anyone else, and it often pays to know the client's perspective. Because of this mindset, communication before, during, and after massage is key to the client's well-being and health. We are in this together; it is not simply offering a service but it is a two-way therapist-to-client relationship that promotes observation and education. Problems are addressed together, and client feedback is always obeyed.

The history of massage is far from perfect. Massage was often correlated with other unrelated sexual matters such as prostitution. Some terms like "parlor" and "masseuse" were used in advertising by prostitutes to "legally" advertise their services. However, massage in and of itself is far different; modern massage is moving towards potentially becoming an important part of the medical system. Manipulation of the soft tissues in the body can reduce tension on joints and improve flexibility. There are countless benefits to massage and I seek to represent only the modern, professional view of this manual therapy.

Massage therapy is manipulation of the soft tissues-muscle, fascia, tendons, et cetera. The soft tissues are what hold our skeleton together, so massage therapy, paired with stretches and somatics, can produce countless benefits and positive results. Just a few possible outcomes include the following:

Headache relief from muscle tension or sinus pressure

Improved circulation of blood and lymph

Hydration of soft tissues

Improved range of motion and flexibility

Increased self-awareness and injury prevention

Improved self-image and confidence

Magic Hands seeks to use massage therapy to truly benefit clients and hopefully reverse unfortunate pain and physical issues they face.

Magic Hands supports the strong connection between mind and body, encouraging inner awareness and peace. Also, I seeks to view the body and client as a whole, perceiving root causes of pain rather than just treating the symptoms. Magic Hands is dedicated to actual long-lasting benefit. Your health is first, and ideally, you should not always need massage in order to be pain free long-term.

Arm (Brachial), Leg/Low Back (Sciatic), Wrist/Carpal Tunnel, you name it. I am planning to become especially good at nerve impingement relief. Many nerve impingement cases have to do with muscle tension and bad posture habits. Because of this, many cases can be reduced or even completely fixed with manual therapy. Try massage before having to resort to surgery or procedures.

I have already worked with a few nerve impingement cases with success.

I naturally am attentive of problem areas and use moderate pressure (while of course listening to and adjusting for each client). I truly value helping people diminish or eliminate their pain in order to live to the fullest. Because of these things I particularly enjoy clients who seek to build on progress and want focus on problem areas.
